Summary
Despite what the movies and books would tell you, being a werewolf didn't mean you only transformed during the full moon.
Actually, despite what any rational person would think and tell you, being a werewolf was, in Stanley's humble opinion, very useful at times.
The only small, tiny, little downside was the full moon.
Control over when and how he transforms? Nope. Control over his own body while transformed? Nuh-uh. Recollection of anything he did while transformed? Oh, how he wishes for that one.
All in all, Stanley hates the full moons. The not knowing, the lack of control and the disorientation after the fact is unbearable.
And worst of all it gets him in situations like this...
Caged, chained and muzzled in some random nerd cabin in Nowhere, Oregon.
Wait... he knows that voice.
Oh no.
Or:
Werewolf!Stan is, much like a lot of other weird and strange things, bound by the Natural Law of Weirdness Magnetism around Gravity Falls.

Summary
Luck is on Ford's side - he managed to save and capture a strange, wolf-like creature for his studies. Is it a regular wolf affected somehow by Gravity Fall's weirdness? Is it a whole new species? And why is it not trying to attack him like every other creature he'd managed to capture? His study of Gravity Falls' natural weirdness has hit a roadblock, but now he has a new project to work on.
Alternatively, Stan has had a shitty few years since being bitten and turned into a werewolf, and now he has to deal with his nerdy scientist brother too. What could go wrong?

The morning dawns and when it does, Toothless realizes he has a problem. Overnight, the fresh new fin Hiccup made for him has frozen together in the closed position.
He tries to open his tail, but he can’t, the little yellow teeth on the edge of it keeping him from moving.
He swings his head around, looking for Hiccup, because things like this have happened before, and Hiccup can always fix it, before he remembers that Hiccup is not here.
Toothless left him behind.
Toothless is alone.
