Unluckily for Percy, it seems like not only is he a child of Hermes, destined to be hated for being a liar and a thief, but he’s also being accused of stealing Zeus’s master bolt, which he would never do! Well, he might steal it if given the chance, but he hadn’t even known the gods existed until his friend Grover almost fell down the stairs, leading to a terrible chain of events at the end of which his mom died. So, it definitely wasn’t fair that he had to trek across the country to try and get the bolt back.

Percy had always known he would one day return to the godless place he had once called home, however short a period of time that may have been. He thinks of what could have been, had Jason not died, had Bruce not sent him away, had he not discovered his heritage.
The What if’s? plaguing his every thought. It had gotten better as he had grown, learned to embrace the world around him rather than resent it. So many life changing experiences, and yet, he still found himself longing for the dreariness that was home. Percy Jackson-Wayne was taken in by Bruce Wayne after Batman rescued him from his abusive step father, Gabe. He grew up with two amazing older brothers, Dick and Jason. Anytime he got into trouble, his family was always there to bail him out. Monsters avoided Gotham (something about the crazy people), so his childhood was fairly peaceful.
Things changed when Jason died. His Dad shut him out and sent him off to boarding school. Soon, Monsters started showing up, and he only got in more trouble. Eventually he ended up at Yancy Academy and befriended a boy named Grover.
It all went to crap from there: Gods, Quests, Wars, Giants, even Tartarus.
Now, after years of fights and running, Percy just wants to come home for real. He misses his Dad, his brothers, his home. He literally went to Hell and back, now all he wants is to be with his family.
