Summary
Science fiction loosely based on the Qeng Ho from Vernor Vinge's "A Deepness in the Sky", about the question of what it's like to work on a ten thousand year old legacy code base.
Mostly slice of life from the perspective of a programmer aboard an interstellar trading ship with little over-arching plot (though that may change over time).
This is a mirror with the canonical version living on my blog, but it's probably much easier to read the archives here.

Martin wasn’t sure how long it had been since he got turned into a butterfly sized version of himself by a pissed off wizard. Not an actual butterfly, mind. That would have been useful compared with what he’d ended up with: he was still a completely normal human being in everything but size, without any magical powers or even a pair of handy wings.

After Martin gets smalled, Jon finds him and takes care of him in more ways than one. 😉

Omegaverse settings tend to be rather vague about Alpha females and what they’ve got going on. I intend to change that.

Summary
My thoughts on how to handle the possibility of YY sex chromosome arrangement resulting from fertile m/m couples, particularly focused on Omegaverse m/m Alpha/Omega couples. Includes a lot of geeking out about sex chromosome genetics and sex chromosome anomalies. May contain ableist language, because I learnt this stuff from ableist sources and it's kind of built into the vocabulary. Also expect a ton of links to scientific sources.
