   Jesse blinked, a bit taken aback by the words coming from Cédric which he couldn't understand, though he was quickly able to put a name to the accent.

   Lifting his lips away from his teacup, he lightly cocked his head before speaking up, just a bit hesitant. ".... Crown Prince-nim?"

   Cédric Riester is a man of few words. But lately, Jesse has noticed that the crown prince actually speaks quite a lot when they're together—though, only in the ancient language of the Empire, which Jesse himself doesn't understand.

   Summary

   “I’m in love with Satoru,” Suguru says again.

   “So you’ve said,” Shoko says, sounding wearier than she has any right to be. “You want the good news or the bad news?” Suguru opens his mouth to answer, but Shoko apparently deems the answer unnecessary as she continues. “The good news is I’ve figured out what’s wrong with you, the bad news is that you probably won’t like it.”

   Suguru stares at Shoko, hoping he doesn’t have to vocalize his obvious question.

   “Whatever’s blocking your cursed energy also has the ability to stop you from saying certain things—specifically, lies,” she clarifies. “Basically, your body is forcing you to tell only the truth for the time being.” She shrugs. “If you try to resist, well. You know what happens.”

   Suguru continues staring at Shoko.

   “So it’s true, then?” he says slowly. “I’m in love with Satoru?”
