He would blame what happens next on the exhaustion - it might be a bit much, running an entire extra case without backup - if Jason hadn’t already demonstrated that he could wipe the floor with Tim. He only catches a subtle scuff against the surface of the roof, though surely there was more warning if he’d been paying attention. Regardless, he is too slow to turn before he feels the prick of a needle in his neck.
He knew Hood was planning something.
