    Long ago, hybrids lived in exile within human kingdoms, shoved into faraway corners, and viewed as savages. They were treated like animals, unable to hold citizenship. While half-hybrid people were able to hide their true identity and blend in amongst the humans, most of the full hybrids left in search of a weak kingdom, overtaking it and claiming the land as their own.

    In a human realm, Prince Jisung has been looking for an opportunity to improve the outreach of his kingdom, and the hybrid kingdom promises to offer just that. Despite every member of his court advising him against it, he decides to let the hybrids prove themselves when the deer-hybrid Prince Minho agrees to welcome his entourage at his court.

    An arranged marriage to benefit both sides - an easy concept, a centuries-old tradition their realms have been following for as long as they have existed. But an intricate web of established and developing relationships makes the process harder than both sides initially anticipated.

    Both princes have to navigate their blossoming feelings through the up-and-downs of prejudice, resentment, jealousy, and fear, to try to come out the other side. And maybe, they’re not the only ones taking the journey.
