In fact, the novel Proud Immortal Demon Way only presented the relationship between Yue Qingyuan and Shen Qingqiu as nothing but chockfull of favoritism. Shen Yuan knew very well that all this attention was not meant for himself, but for Jiu-ge.
Because who was Shen Yuan? He isn’t Qi-ge’s Xiao Jiu. He was just Shen Yuan.
