What if something happened to him? What if he was injured? What if Mori did something? What if he died? They had to get down to the bottom of this.

Dazai was so confused, did he die? What are ghosts supposed to do anyways. This was not how he planned on spending his lifeline.

Summary
The mission was meant to be quick. Damian, posing as a civilian, was supposed to slip in unnoticed, extract the coordinates to an alien tech exchange, and walk away before anyone realized what had happened. The plan was simple and flawless.
At 22:00, the Justice League was supposed to dismantle a criminal organization before the deal ever took place.
At 21:45, Batman was on his knees in Gothams cruel rain, squeezing his son’s bleeding body. There were no coordinates, —only the weight of Damian’s blood on his hands and the sickening certainty that the mission had failed in the worst possible way.
But the blood son is relentless and he survives.
He wakes days later in a hospital bed, alive—without a single memory of who he is, the father who never let go of his hand and the unfamiliar, chilling faces of the people who surround him in this unfamiliar room.
