“It’s good to be here.” Zhongli leans down to press a warm kiss to Venti’s cheek, then looks up at the white silk banners draping the outside of the cathedral, lined with beautiful twists of lily and cecilia. “What… is all of this?”
“Um.” Venti laughs nervously. “So, there’s been a little bit of a misunderstanding…” He raises his hands in a gesture of faux excitement, as though unveiling a fun little surprise. “Change of plans! We’re getting married!”
Zhongli looks puzzled. “But we’re already married.”
Through a series of drunken misunderstandings, Mondstadt begins preparing for the event of the century: its Archon’s wedding to the neighboring deity.
Venti, meanwhile, now has to explain to his husband of three hundred years why they’re getting married again.

“He just casually sharpens his spear while talking to me. All the time! I mean, who does that? How am I supposed to not perceive that as a threat?”
“To be fair, we are talking about a god of martial arts, here,” the Pyro Archon suggested. “That seems pretty par for the course.”
“Okay, you are all being way too calm about this!” Venti snapped. “You guys realize he only does this to me? I mean,” he started, counting on his fingers, “does he randomly visit any of you unannounced? Does he threateningly show off his spears when talking to any of you? Did he buy any of you a bunch of fancy wine right before the winter gala so you’d get super drunk and make an ass of yourselves? No! It’s only me! It’s always me! Because he’s trying to get rid of me at any cost!”
