It would come to no surprise to anyone who has even had a mere conversation with her. Hermione loved the push and pull. Easy was the last thing she could ever imagine being attracted to.
Hermione was addicted to the chase, craved the feeling of having to work that much more to reach the things she wants. She saw it like a puzzle, and if there was anything she could do, it was solving puzzles.
