Cissie lets herself be led away by the woman, briefly looking behind her to glance at Cassie, who’s still standing there like a deer in headlights. Her expression is utterly unreadable, and just above her eyebrow is a cut covered in dried blood. It worries Cassie, Gods, it scares the hell out of her.
It’s too familiar, too similar to back then. Only this time there’s no Kon and Cissie looks a little more lucid and wearing a plain white blouse and jeans and her mother is putting the kettle on like it’s a normal Saturday, and not a brain rewiring event.

As Cassie faces old questions about herself, Arrowette is spotted back in the hero life, forcing Cassie to consider that maybe those questions have answers after all.

But Noodle still has some hesitation about bringing home this "girl she's been talking to" to her band, and Murdoc and Russel might have some hesitation about letting Noodle grow up.

Not all spirits are like this way. Usually they tend to be more primitive, no different from animals you see in the woods and seemingly mindless in what they do. Of course you get the ones that have other motives such as:
-Existing purely out of spite to cause others misfortune.
-Seeking out revenge.
-Starting up a cult.But it wasn't until my dearest friend, Kageyama, opened my eyes to a side of them I've never considered. Little did I know what I was getting myself into when I crossed paths with a spirit of a child.

Another one of my favorite MP100 fics, even though it’s unfinished it’s still really worth reading. I really appreciate the way this author shows that Teru has PTSD from the two times he’s fought Mob. It’s sad, but I can’t imagine that he wouldn’t have it after going through that twice. And the writing style is really immersive- if that makes sense. Like- and I found this with the last MP100 fic I bookmarked as well- the writing is able to evoke specific emotions instead of simple overarching ones. I also love the story itself, and all the original characters the author created, which says something as I usually steer clear of stories with OCs.
