"Feels like a club meeting," laughs Hongjoong trying to deflate the serious talk that he started "Hello, my name is Hongjoong and I'm currently heartbroken." he jokes.
"Hello Hongjoong," responds Chan with a smile, jumping on the joke with the other man.
"We need a club name !" suggests Hongjoong.
"Broken heart club," says Chan without blinking. It's true and very obvious so Hongjoong agrees with a nod.
Or : The broken heart club : a club consisting of two oblivous idiots who can't see what's right in front of them.

Summary
Jongho was nobody's favorite. The realization hit him one day out of the blue and as much as he tried, it doesn't go away. It stays with him and burns him a little bit more each day.
And it hurts even more when the people you thought were your brothers were the ones to make you feel like this.

“Are you guys going to kill me if I let you in my car?”
“Of course not,” Wooyoung replies first. He tilts his head as he thinks for a moment before adding, “Although I imagine that’s what we’d say if we were actually planning to kill you. But we wouldn’t do that!”
Jongho closes his eyes, his mind conflicted about what he should do. On the one hand, Wooyoung’s reassurances aren’t all that reassuring and Jongho knows that this is exactly how one of the true crime documentaries his mother loves to watch would start. On the other hand, he kind of feels bad for them. Well, he feels bad for Yeosang, who looks a little lost and seems genuine in his struggle. Wooyoung kind of seems like an asshole if Jongho is being honest.

When Jongho decides to turn a six-hour flight back to San Francisco into a few days of driving across the country, he expects to do the drive alone. Just him, drive-thru burgers, and the open road. At least, that's the plan anyway.
That all changes when he meets Wooyoung and Yeosang, two strangers standing outside of his favorite cafe, asking to hitch a ride.
