Summary
“Honestly Tommy doesn’t seem too bad.” Ranboo says.
Wilbur knows appeasement when he hears it, “...yeah.” he mutters, clenching his gills tight and fingers tighter.
“They would be happier together.”
“What are you saying?” Wilbur snaps turning fully to look at him. The Ni-pameo shutters under his blown pupils.
“I-”
“You aren’t staying and you aren’t taking him.”

His feet are moving between one blink and the next, before he can even think about it his hiding spot is gone and he is running, limping, past a couple aliens to collapse on his knees in front of the screen. He cranes his neck back and opens his mouth to speak but instead a sob comes out.
“Oh god, you wouldn’t believe-” He gasps, “I’ve been abducted from earth, taken hostage please, you have to save me.”
And the human woman, his reflection, looks upon him with contempt.

“I’m going to take Tommy, catch the next train out of here, I’ve realised that it- its not just us and everyone is out to get him and if we continue then- It’s too big,” He stresses, “It was stupid to try and stick my nose into this, try to solve it. I get it now.”
“Wilbur, no. What are you saying?”
“I quit. For real quit.”
“Don’t rush anything," Phil chides, "Don’t make any rash decisions because you’re scared.”
“I’m not scared.”

Summary
Tommy has graduated into The Explorers Federation's ranks, assigned to his first mission he meets his crew for the two month long research expedition. These 3 aliens will be with him every single day as they explore Kinoko, a dead and dying planet with thick red soil and two suns.
It would be crazy to go through all the training and the tests and the wait required to be selected for one of these exploration trips to just fall through. There were thousands of applicants and none of them would turn down a trip like this, no one in their right mind.
Tommy should have said no.

Summary
Techno notices a lot. He notices that Wilbur runs and plays, hopefully enough for a being his age, but he also falls down a lot. Especially in the freshly tilled land for the next batch of spuds. Which isn’t optimal for Techno’s repetitive growing patterns.
He notices when Wilbur looks up at him from the floor and says, with all the respect a eight year old can garner- which isn’t much, “Dad usually fills up the bath with hot water on weekends.”
And so here they are.

Summary
"These reports of black-blooded monsters are a grave concern. Link, I implore you to leave my side, if only to look into this matter on my behalf. I'll stay here so you don't worry, and I'll do all I can to assist you. Please, be careful."
Zelda had requested his assistance, so Link set out to learn what he could to about these strange new threats. Encountering heroes from the past was a surprise, but it gave him hope to have friends by his side.
He did his best to hold onto that hope, but that is harder than it should be when his first impression isn’t all that great.
When all is said and done, Link - Wild - must decide if the Heroes of the Forgotten Past are worth opening up to.

Bookmarker's Notes
“He loves you.” The boy in Lurelin clothes said quietly. “And you’re so mean to him.” He sounded brokenhearted about that, and Zelda was taken off guard at the honest observation and completely incorrect opinion. The man next to him, dressed in lighter armor and with a long scarf reminiscent of Royal Attire that she made for the Champions, rested a hand on the boy to comfort him. He then met her eyes but did not say anything.
“He said he died.” The feral hero spat harshly, offended and indignant. “He said he died, and you refused him the rest he deserved so that he would fight some more.” Zelda gave an offended glare and the blatant accusation in his voice. “And now, after his duty was done, you dare to keep him from peace and you treat him like this?” He gestures widely to the people sitting at the other end of the table, and to the door where Nelius had left to fetch refreshments.
The library was silent. No one bothered pretending to give them the courtesy of privacy. No one continued to turn the pages of their books or look away from their end of the table. Her researchers were growing rather offended themselves, but Zelda had a thought.
She found herself slowly realizing what the Champions have been trying to say.

So why do they wake up staring at Giant's Deep? And why is the Orbital Probe Cannon still intact? Perhaps by exploring the solar system again they can find out exactly what happened when they entered the Eye of the Universe.

sooooooo fucking good ( I will be there at the end of it all. by technolich )
“I think I did the wrong thing, though,” they say after a moment. “At the Eye of the Universe. I didn’t let it make something new.”
Solanum thinks this over. “Why would that be the wrong thing?”
“I held on too tight. I denied a new universe the right to exist.”
“Did you?” Solanum asks. The question is genuine and pointed, meant to shake the foundation of self doubt Gen’s built for themself. “Did you truly deny the universe anything? The Eye of the Universe simply is. It has no plans to foil. If your influence was accepted, then it was simply that: influence. The fact that we exist now doesn’t mean we took the place of something else. That something has not yet come to be, and therefore its existence cannot be taken.
