    Harry Potter is use to being unloved.
    Whether by his remaining family, the community that has been turned against him, or by the students at his new magical school.

    After his first year at hogwarts he's forced back to the Dursley's and their abusive household, only to be rescued by the letter his cousin sends.

    The only thing young Harry truly wants is to be loved, and maybe a summer with a professor who hates him can provide that for him.

    Harry is left traumatized after killing his professor, he hates being the boy-who-lived and wants nothing more for someone to pull him ashore in the sea of lies and bullshit that is his life.
