Summary
AU where Bradley and Max didn't meet at college, but years ago as childhood friends. After Brad's father catches the two holding hands, he forbids his son from seeing Max or acting on his 'unnatural feelings.' Though Bradley does everything in his power to keep love (and boys) out of his head and to be the golden child his parents have impressed upon him to be, the arrival of the same boy from his childhood as a Freshman at college is enough to make him question everything.
Follow Brad through a series of very bad choices throughout his Junior year, where hopefully he will learn that it okay to love yourself and to be with the person you want to be with.
Some mature themes (underage smoking, drinking, and some suggestive content so DLDR and all that). For purposes of this fic, Max is 19 and Brad is 21.
