Curious, the Doctor offers him a ride. Unfortunately, Loki decides he wants to go the roots of Yggdrasil. And things...don't go exactly as planned.
Or: What happens after Loki falls from the Bifrost, winds up hurt and confused and furious in a Phone Box and now has to deal with the most bizarre man he has ever met. This has definitely not been one of his better plans.

Summary
The Eleventh Doctor: Caught knee deep in a mystery, his efforts to unravel the latest mind-boggling human he's come across - Clara Oswin Oswald - flings the Doctor into a version of Earth that should not exist. Fresh out of an incident where he got engaged to Queen Elizabeth the First, a malfunction in the TARDIS re-routes the Doctor into a strange plane of existence - an infinite ocean, populated only by two great titans the size of continents, upon which countless people live. Summary
Forced to use Alien X's powers to recreate the universe, the seventeen-year-old Ben Tennyson makes a catastrophic mistake:
He lets his feelings get the better of him. As a result, he wakes up in a universe where almost nothing is as he remembers it, and as time goes by, he may find himself forced to choose between what he knows, and this strange, yet pleasant universe where nobody is where they should be.
The only problem is, he doesn't have the Omnitrix.
...yet. Because as Ben quickly discovers, even though he's seventeen and, broadly speaking, friends with Gwen, it seems the universe is right back at the beginning of that fateful road trip.
Who knows, a reboot might be fun.

Summary
The Doctor was not supposed to show up in the fake-Afterlife Missy was running, because the Doctor was not supposed to die, and he was definitely not supposed to die before teaming up with all his former selves and saving Gallifrey at the end of the Time War.
Faced with a temporal paradox that could destroy everything (including and especially herself), Missy finds herself doing the very last thing she ever wanted or expected to do: impersonating the Doctor and saving the day.
