The trial will be public as is customary for anyone who pursues legal action with the royal family or Their Highness. Interjections are allowed and several witnesses will be allowed to testify if willing. The Judge sees all, however.

“I told you to deactivate them!”
Vlad shrugs, not particularly bothered.
“My offer still stands, you know. At the very least, you're always welcome to stay the night.” When Phantom doesn't react, Vlad presses on, “Daniel, I'm serious. At least at my home you won't be shot at.”

A wastelander and his deathclaw companion are residing at a farm outside of a nearby town, thanks to the generosity of the farm's owner. The farmer's daughter, lonely as farmer's daughters usually are, is drawn to the stranger. One night, after a long day of hard work, she sneaks out for a midnight rendezvous with the wanderer.
The wanderer's deathclaw, territorial as deathclaws usually are, might have a different idea about the girl's plans.

No, class, there is not a fourth sex of people whose breeding cycles last the whole of spring, because that’s ridiculous. Do you think someone whose judgment is impaired by a rush of hormones for that long would be able to just blend into society at large unnoticed?” There were shrugs all around and the gym-going teacher shook his head. “Even if they were real, it’d be a one in a billion chance of finding one.”
Danny "one in a billion" Fenton has to figure out how to handle the reality of knocking up bully and hottest omega in their year, Dash Baxter, with a ghostly hybrid child after they went into heat together.

Star is a ghost. She has no idea how she became a ghost, but decides there's only one thing it could be: murder. So, she elicits the help of some ghosts and Team Phantom to help solve it. However, when more girls begin to disappear, and another student turns up dead, the group realizes that maybe this goes beyond just Star's murder and they might be in over their heads.
All the while, given she has transformation powers and her body is still missing, Star decides to continue living her life while keeping her ghostliness a secret. This is easier said than done! Luckily, Danny is there to help, although there are some slip-ups...
Danny, meanwhile, is dealing with the realization that he's started to identify more as a ghost than a human, not helped by discovering that halfas are immortal. Plus, he's seriously starting to suspect that Jazz is right that he has not just PTSD, but ADHD as well.
On top of this, Star and Danny both discover that they have crushes on the other. Will they act on this?

Summary
A cult attempts to summon Phantom, but instead gets not only Fenton but everyone in the detention classroom!
Deciding any ghost will do, the cult threatens to start killing the humans if Danny doesn't help them, plus gives him a power suppressant for good measure. Unfortunately for the cult, Valerie is there, and stages an escape attempt... During which Danny gets shot, and between the suppressant, ecto-loss, and being in a low-ecto environment, his rapid healing isn't working.
Then, it's a race to get Danny back to a high-ecto area so he can recover, before his half-death becomes a full one! Yet the fact that the cult's base was an abandoned lodge in the Canadian wilderness doesn't bode well for him...
Will they make it back in time? And more importantly, Danny's classmates and teacher now know he's a half-ghost, but will anyone learn that he's Phantom as well?
