Apollo looks between the two of them, holding his hands behind his back. “Ah, yes. Apollo, this is my younger brother, Klavier. Klavier, this is my intern, Apollo Justice. He’s currently working towards becoming a defense attorney.”
“Oh!” Apollo gasps. “You were the prosecution in State v. Gramarye, weren’t you?”
Klavier bites the inside of his cheek. “Ja, that would have been me.”
Apollo frowns, then, rubbing his wrist. Like he knows he’s said something wrong. “Well,” he hedges, “it was an impressive trial. You knew the evidence like the back of your hand.”
Or: Apollo and Klavier meet three years earlier.

Summary
Klavier Gavin does not want to get involved in a stupid bet the other prosecutors have concerning one Apollo Justice. But he realizes Apollo is good for more than one thing, and the two lawyers find themselves entangled in more and more dangerous cases and an escalating physical relationship. Klavier and Apollo have to figure out how to solve murders while avoiding revealing their affair – and also avoiding getting killed.
