This is the longest thing I've written so far on ao3, and honestly, that's concerning.

When the riders see some aftermath of a particularly brutal capture, they are understandably concerned. For Hiccup? IT didn't matter. He'd do anything for them. Astrid, however, is not willing to take any of it.
