His eyes scan the crowd to see if he can find that signature large smile that all the posters in hell detected Lucifer with. Alastor taps a hand against his glass cup as a smile spreads across his face.

A squeal of static drowned out a sudden wheeze from Lucifer, Alastor's cheeks flaming at the implication. Heat sparked in his chest and crept up the back of his neck, something behind his ribs twisting as Lucifer stuttered out a denial.
“Ha – me and – and him? Ha, no, I mean – no. We're just... just working together. For Charlie,” Lucifer finished up, his voice going a little weak as gold spread over his pale face. His gaze drifted over to where Charlie was trying on dresses, a tiny imp seamstress tugging and poking at her all the while.
“For Charlie,” Alastor echoed.

Or: Lucifer and Alastor have to at least pretend to get along to help Charlie and Vaggi plan their wedding. Along the way, they discover hidden depths to each other that they might have preferred to remain ignorant of.

Summary
Lucifer has been acting somewhat strange as of late. Alastor has utterly no idea as to why, and it's starting to get on his nerves.
In which Lucifer is very unsubtle, but Alastor is as dense as a brick so he doesn't pick up on the hints until everything is basically thrown at him like an actual brick.

Summary
An uncomfortable feeling builds in his chest, a small ball of pressure and tension slowly eating at him. Recognizing the feeling for what it was, he let out a frustrated growl, shaking his head to clear his thoughts. There were many things Alastor deserved, and worry—especially his worry—was definitely not one of them. Alastor choosing to disappear because of Vox's stupid TVs and cameras was not his problem. If anything, good riddance; it meant more time for the presence of his soul owner to not bother him.
An excerpt of a scenario where when Alastor comes back to the rebuilt hotel he finds out that it's filled with VoxTek appliances. Unfortunately, since he's still recovering from his fight against Adam he can't do anything about it, leading to a miserable time. This fic specifically is a midstory scene between Husk and Alastor, with Husk discovering a little bit about why Alastor's been acting weird lately.

Summary
Alastor’s ear twitched. In a blur of motion, his own hand shot up, fingers clamping around the clone's wrist with an iron grip. His head whipped around, eyes blazing crimson, static spiking sharp enough to make the lights flicker.
“What in the seven rings do you think you’re—!”
The clone vanished in a puff of red sparkles.
Alastor blinked at empty air.
And then two very real, very warm hands slid enthusiastically behind both of his ears.
“Gotcha.”
Alastor’s entire body went rigid for one glorious heartbeat.
Then it melted.
A loud, rumbling deer mew burst out of him, his eyes flew wide, then fluttered half-closed in instant bliss. The book slipped from limp fingers and landed with a soft thud on the carpet. His head unconsciously fell back against the couch cushion, pressing eagerly into Lucifer’s hands.
OR
Alastor has been more annoyed than the usual lately, which causes concern among the residents. After discovering the problem, another one arises, as no one would dare touch Alastor's ears and risk losing a limb. Thankfully, there's only one person who can touch Alastor without dying immediately.

A few dull but warm lights had been lit around the hangout area, his eyes falling on a radio that stood on the small coffee table. Now that he saw the source, he noticed a faint melody hovering through the air. And lastly his eyes focused on the person sitting on the couch, drinking something out of a cup.
Obviously.
Because why not would he coincidentally meet the fucking Radio Demon at the ass crack of dawn in the hangout area.

Rather than move into the hotel post-Extermination, Lucifer shapeshifts into a cat to monitor Charlie and the hotel closely (and secretly and unobtrusively, if he might add), yet finds himself constantly in close quarters with Alastor -- who fails to realize that it’s him.
Somehow, the experience becomes hard for Lucifer to dislike.

Summary
Alastor was not a man that had any interest in the toils of romance, sex, nor relationships at all for that matter. Quite frankly, he simply didn’t see the appeal. Apart from the general lack of attraction for another, it felt utterly silly to flit about in some sort of grandiose dance when he was not only perfectly content by himself, but also free from the annoyance that came with being so intrinsically connected to another person.
No, Alastor didn’t have any interest in a relationship of any sort, especially not with Lucifer of all people-the insufferable king of hell in all his pint-sized glory. He did however, have an interest in being as much of an annoyance as was humanly possible.
________Aka Alastor is bored, what better to way to pass the time than strike up a fake courtship? (Spoiler alert: things don't exactly go as planned)

Summary
One thing that came to Lucifer’s attention the longer he stayed at the hotel was the residents’ schedules. Particularly how he'd find himself working late into the night, expecting to be the only one awake, and finding the manager of his daughter’s hotel within the lobby reading to himself with a dimly lit lamp and a cup of coffee.

Lucifer is surprised to find that Alastor struggles with night terrors and has become quite an insomniac because of it. He tries to help the overlord cope with them in a healthy way.

Summary
“Why do you still wear it?”
Lucifer jumps, only now realizing that he had been twisting the wedding ring on his finger. Alastor watches him with a strange mix of apathetic curiosity, almost as if he doesn’t really care about Lucifer’s answer at all.
“I don’t know,” he says distractedly, looking down at the gold band that sits as familiar on his hand as his own skin. “I don’t really remember what it’s like to not wear it.”
(Depression is Lucifer’s most familiar enemy and the next time he’s struck by it, Alastor, in a bid to cheer him up, brings up Lucifer’s long-overdue divorce. It works, oddly enough.)

Summary
Lucifer got his cup and went for his apple juice like always. Then, he went over to the dessert leftover from dinner and had just decided which brownie he wanted when his hand was smacked away. Mouth agape, the king looked up at Alastor’s narrowed eyes with shock and affront. “What the hell?!”
“You eat way too much sugar. If you are hungry, you should have something that will sate you, not something so pathetically unfulfilling.” Alastor sounded like a man lecturing a child for trying to have cookies for dinner.
“I…” Lucifer stumbled in his shock before shaking his head. “You know, not everyone wants to cook at one am!” And if it was said that Lucifer pouted around those words, he would deny it vehemently.
