Welcome to the Miraculous Episodic Shorts Series, where I (a fool) attempt to write a short story based before, during or after every episode of Miraculous, starting with Season 1! I'm writing these as a personal challenge, the rules and restrictions of which you can find in the end notes of Chapter 1.

Summary
When Ladybug spots Chat Noir traversing the city in the middle of the night, despite his insistence that he wasn't able to join her for patrol, her curiosity (and annoyance) gets the better of her, and she decides to follow him. Little did she know that she was about to peek behind the very curtain that she had adamantly told him to hold closed to her for years, and in doing so, would fall even more in love with him than she already had, whether she denies it or not.
This is a story of love, loss, letting go, and the consequences of keeping secrets, as Ladybug discovers the pain of her partner's past, and Chat Noir finds the strength to face it, with his best friend's hand in his.

Summary
When Ladybug is caught detransforming after an akuma battle, she fears that her knee jerk reaction to her witness might spell the end of not only her superhero career, but also any chance she had with Adrien. Now, reeling after accidently knocking her crush out into the next week, she finds herself grieving on the rooftops of Paris and battered by a terrible storm.
It would take a lot to pull her from such a dire state. Thankfully, Chat Noir is there to hold her together.
And he has every intention of holding her.

It wasn't at all uncommon for Piper to be woken up in the morning by her boyfriend, whom she hadn't seen for days, and who was covered in grease, grime and oil. And it wasn't at all uncommon for him to then drag her half way across the Commonwealth at a moment's notice, far from the looming walls of Diamond City. Some might consider this an inconvenience, but not her. For her, it was the purest pleasure. Adrenaline, adventure, and always a story to take back home for her paper.
Except, for once, he was assuring her that there would be none of those things. No people to save, no settlements to settle, no Raiders or Gunners or mutants.
Only one, unspoken mystery: if there was no daring-do to be had, then why did he have such a pep in his step? What was he planning?

With an important council meeting on the horizon, Ezran sees the perfect opportunity to raise his brother's spirits. And maybe, just maybe, to force him to consume something other than that stupid Moonberry Juice.
