Summary
Fraser catches that spot on the horizon again and notices that it's larger this time. As he stares he can just make out the moving pack of sled dogs and guesses that the figure is less than five kilometers away. “I wonder if he’ll catch up to us,” Fraser says, sitting down.
“Who?” Ray looks at where Fraser points, even digging his glasses out for good measure, and frowns. "Fraser," he says, slowly, carefully. "There's nothing there."
Fraser turns from Ray to that point in the distance and finds that Ray is right. "Oh dear," he says.
