Summary
The man approaches, Umbra trotting dutifully at his side, guiding him to Noctis.
“I haven’t caught your name though.” Since that first day, he’s seen the man on the temple grounds, usually when Noctis is rushing past him in the halls, running late to his daily lessons with his brothers.
“Ah, my apologies. Of course,” the man says. There had been a light familiarity to his demeanour, but it falls away suddenly.
The hurt in his voice strikes a spike into Noctis’ heart. It makes no sense. He wants to take his words back, apologize. But he doesn’t know why.
“My name is Ignis Scientia.”
