Summary
Lots of fics work under the assumption that Jack was ignored by the Guardians purely out of convenience or dislike until asked to join them - what if there were a deeper, if still ultimately selfish reason to keep their distance? And after being told to work with Jack Frost, they realize they'll have to face a lot of feelings they'd long been shoving into a corner and draping with a doily.
(Between the scenes, AKA, how they got Bunnymund from 'not a chance in hell' to carrying out the plan himself.)

Little does Wild know that the trip into the Gerudo Desert and town Wild has to make will reveal an entire other side to the hero none of them were privy to, until Warriors was forced to go along.

Original Prompt: "Given what Pitch said, becoming a Guardian is like entering a contract of some sort. And as soon as it happens, your physical health/state becomes entirely dependent on how many believers you have.. and at the time MiM chose Jack, he had absolutely none. (And by the time he accepted it, he still had none, though when he actually took the oath it was a number. Less than ten, but a number.)
Punch me in the heart, angst angst angst."
I didn’t really manage any angst. But what I do have is Jack, who’s been making a corpse work as his body for 300 years, suddenly now coming to life with his oath. There’s a whole lot more sensation for him to deal with, now–a painful lot of it, actually. But also, he’s just plugged into an emotional link between all the Guardians. It’s no wonder he’s a little overwhelmed. But maybe he only wants to get used to part of all this.

Original Prompt: "So we all agree on that no matter how necessary it may have been, the stunt Man in the Moon pulled on Jack (losing his memories and being ignored for 300 years) was a pretty dick move on MiM’s part.
However, it was pointed out to me that the moment Jack saves his sister and switches places with her, frost patterns start appearing on his coat from seemingly nowhere. So this gave me an idea:
MiM never meant for Jack to die. He made Jack a guardian and gave him the forst powers the moment he saved his sister and intended for him to go on like the other guardians, just swithing lives: but he miscalculated. Likewise, the memory loss was not MiM’s fault, it’s just Jack’s own body shutting away the traumatic memory of drowning.
+10 Pitch had something to do with it.
+100 Jack and/or other guardians find out.(Alternatively, you could explore the “what if” situation if Jack hadn’t died that day, but was still made guardian. u3u)"
This takes place in the Eldritch Abomination Verse but it’s pretty easy to read because I’m out of practice.
Pitch is the first one present when Jack drowns.
