It clanked against a small pouch of sugar star candies, the pouch had no seal or ribbon to resist its candies from falling and dropping onto one of the larger cracks that once sealed its glass barrier, fracturing it until the candies entered the jar in a new.. unethical way.
Sugar clung to the inner walls of the jar with ease and want, its touch tinting the once clear glass and filling it with a new sudden purpose it always craved. The jar shone with a new worth and light that it lacked, shining bright in the dark abyss to it once held nothing of use to. The inner walls of the glass jar hug the candies back with as much force as they can, trapping them within its barriers as though they cannot reach the top and escape themselves.
“Tsukasa, I'm home.” His words echoed through the deserted apartment, footsteps soon filled the vacuous apartment with eagerness and speed. “Rui!” Yelled a voice with so much love that even Rui couldn't comprehend it.
