Summary
The kiss is everything Zanka thought it would be, it's filthy, it’s disgusting, it’s like sharing the spliff, sharing spit, sharing their intoxication, Zanka hates it, he sinks his hand into Jabber’s hair, tugs hard enough that Jabber howls, and fights until it’s him pushing Jabber against the wall.
Jabber moans, his back arching, “Fuck, fuck, Zan-zan, you’re makin’ me so hard,” and his words make something climb up Zanka’s back, especially when a hand slips under his shirt, throws it over his head, and Zanka’s quick to do the same, and he’s never done this before, but it’s familiar in every way, ignorant in every other. The ugly, timid thing inside of him is wailing, it's fallen down into his gut, it’s screaming with every push of their tongues.

Summary
“Despite their near-death battles, Jabber and Zanka haven’t really fought, not in the way where you’re intending to hurt someone’s spirit, make bruises all over, and leave it in tattered little pieces. You can heal from being knocked around by Lovely Assistaff or recover from Mankira’s poison-laced caresses, but you can’t take back the words you purposely say to cut into someone’s very core.”
Or, the one where Jabber and Zanka realize the weight of a real, emotionally charged fight.

Summary
Regto always worried Rudo would come home hurt; he just never thought he’d be the one who wouldn’t make it back.
Left with grief, guilt, and anger he doesn’t know how to carry, Rudo learns that even after loss, he doesn’t have to stand alone.

Summary
Jabber makes Zanka feel wanted in the most backwards kind of way. Not in the way Enjin does: useful, supported, good lad, folded into a tight team that actually cares if he's breathing. Safe and stable and predicable.
Jabber's wanting is different. It's feral. The wanting that says: you're interesting 'cause you can hurt me real nice. And I'm interested 'cause you can take it.
It's not…good.
It's probably not healthy, either.
It doesn't matter. It wedges its way under Zanka's ribs into a private part of himself he swore he'd never touch.
