The day Sun died, his family shattered into a million pieces. They'd all mourned and grieved in their own ways, each slowly coming to terms with his choice to take his own life.
Eclipse was a problem solver, and right now, his new family had a Sun-shaped problem that he needed to solve. For the sake of his lovers and little brother, he'd make this right.
Lunar had been one of the only ones to really see Sun for the troubled soul he was, and see the different ways he was hurting before the end. That's why, when his brothers walked in the room and promised to bring him back, Lunar grew angry. Because despite everything that had happened, nothing had changed.
Moon looked across the sea to the setting sun in his mind, wishing and hoping that he made the right choice, for Sun's sake. So imagine his surprise when his replacement shows up, introduces himself as Nexus, and then said that Sun was dead. “Little Wing?” Dick’s tone lost the harshness to it, as if sensing that Jason was teetering on the edge. He could always tell when Jason needed the grounding. He always knew. Could feel it from a mile away.
“Dick, I think…I think you have a son.”He closed his eyes, surrendering to the darkness. He forced his heartbeat to slow, and an eerie calmness washed over his thoughts. The last image that flickered through his mind was Aunt May’s lifeless eyes.
Peter hoped he wouldn’t wake up again.

Summary
Peter seems to remember who he is, his name, his losses, his responsibility as the 'friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man', but everything that led to this moment? That led to being stranded in this foreign place? Half-remembered and hastily stitched together.
Gotham is colder than New York, the faces are unfamiliar, the skyline jagged and grim, and the heroes... strange and foreign.
He is haunted by visions of a dour, inescapable green; his memories muddled and vague. He knows he needs to get his narrative in order, needs to remember it properly, but now Peter has garnered the unwanted attention of Gotham's idolised protectors. And try as he might, he cannot seem to shake them off.
