Summary
Christmas sucked as much as ever, but at least Astarion didn’t have to pretend he enjoyed it anymore. He supposed that it meant something, at the very least.
Gale felt guilty when he realised that, despite all the efforts Mystra had put into organising this months ago, he would still have preferred for them to eat at his mother’s place. He kept silent. Mystra was clearly enjoying herself. Gale wouldn’t want to displease her with his sour mood.
Along the years, Gale and Astarion did not always spend wonderful holidays, until they found their way to each other.

Summary
“Doctor? Is it time for my next dose?” Astarion asked, looking exhausted. Gale felt for his patient, his state having barely improved since he arrived, three weeks ago. Leukemia was not a battle many had won in the past, but Gale fully intended for this particular man to come victorious. He certainly deserved it. They had talked extensively after Astarion’s acceptance in the hospital, and Gale knew his patient had suffered a rough life before his arrival. And as if it weren’t enough, his lovely smiles and waggish humour always managed to put a smile on Gale’s face and, selfish as it might be, Gale didn’t feel ready to part ways with them.
The story of a man doing his hardest to save the one he fell for, at any cost.

Summary
Gale turned around. He was a second away from darting back on his steps when he heard it. Small, high-pitched noises; cries halfway between chirps and squeaks. They seemed so innocuous that all tension bled out of Gale in an instant, leaving him confused as to why he had been so on edge in the first place.
Locating the source of the noise, Gale discovered a small bat wedged between two rubbish bins, chirp-squeaking angrily. It was white as fresh snow with two bright, piercing red eyes.
Gale finds a hurt bat and brings it home. It turns out to be the worst decision of his life.

Summary
Considering the place seemed like a normal inn, it wasn’t far fetched to think there would be beds on the top floor.
And beds they found. A lot of them. There was only one room upstairs, which took the entirety of the top floor, but the room was filled to the brim with beds. They were all absolutely identical but there was no coherency in the way they were spread around the room. They weren't aligned with each other, but rather as if someone had thrown miniature beds on the ground then placed the real ones in the exact way the miniatures had landed.
Based on the Reverse Tropes list : Too many beds.

Summary
Gale turned to Astarion, his mouth open and moving, but no sound made it past his lips. He looked… fine. No blueing skin due to the lack of blood flow in his skin, no gasping for air. In fact, Gale looked like he was breathing. Just… soundlessly.
Realisation dawned upon Astarion at the same time it did for Gale. And while the vampire’s expression turned into a delighted grin, the wizard’s soured. Astarion was too amused to care.
Gale gets Silenced for a week. Astarion is having a lot of fun teasing him about it.
