Summary
Han Jisung has been mistaken as an Alpha his entire life. With a scent like his, it's not hard to understand why. When a rival gang shows up at his husband's door and takes him as insurance, he's scared. The Stray Kids gang has no idea who he is beyond being Jaeyoon's husband. If they find out he's actually an Omega, what will they do? He's almost out of suppresants, and given that his Alpha didn't like his scent and thought he was too needy while in heat, he hasn't had a heat since he presented. Only...the gang is actually kind, even if they were rough when they thought he was an Alpha. Given what he's learned about Hyujin's past, he can understand why. He'd be rough too. Over time, his world view starts to change. He starts to acknowledge--he already understood, but there was nothing he could do about it at the time--that his husbands treatment of him was...not good to say the least. Will Han join Stray Kids? There was a moment of silence before Felix straightened his shoulders, raised his chin and looked at Minho - like Jeongin often told him to do, with warm, comforting touches to Felix’s shoulders and chin.
“I… I don’t understand, Hyung. Could you explain, please?” Felix asked, his voice a little stronger.
Felix truly was the bravest of them all.
“Of course, Felix. Thank you for asking.” He allowed his scent to swell with pride and happiness, to make it as obvious as he could that Felix had done good. That they wanted him to ask questions. That no matter what had happened to him before, they would do whatever it took to make him understand how valued he was.

What is surprising, even to himself, is how fast they all fall for the Omega that has an undeniable strength, even if the world tried to beat it out of him.

An ongoing new original work based around a fusion of my own spin on some of the worldbuilding ideas commonly found in eastern live-service games such as Genshin Impact, as well as other Hoyoverse titles and Black Beacon, queer polyamory, and some of the ideas from the first original omegaverse romance I ever wrote. Bitter Frost, at its core, is a story where love ultimately must face evil head on, but like any good story, this deceptively simple premise belies the emotional journey contained within.
