    Five years after the last party held at the grove, everything in Baldur's Gate appears to be healing. However, for Divinya, the last five years have been spent entombed in Lord Astarion's refurbished mansion playing consort until he can finally claim his freedom. A promise made allowed for five years as a consort while Astarion garnered favor with nobility and various scrupulous powers beneath the sewers of the prospering coastal city.

    Yet, Divinya knows deep down that just like his once father, Bhaal, his freedom won't be easily won. Neither will the yolk of love for Astarion easily broken. What he doesn't know is just what it will take and more importantly just how much it will cost him to obtain his freedom.

    For his freedom, Divinya will have to obtain something unfathomable: the cure for an Ascendant.
