It ate away at him to lie to Techno like that, but it wasn’t exactly hard. It felt as though he barely saw his brother anymore, with his new job taking up so much of his time.
So he didn’t have to worry about Techno finding him, as he put on the mask, allowing his powers to shift his features enough to be completely unrecognizable. He didn’t have to worry about Techno finding him, as he let his alias roll off his tongue, telling himself who he was.

So, he decided to investigate, if only to satisfy his curiosity. He could be a few minutes late to his meeting with Puffy, she'd understand. He dove down, spreading his wings out to pull forward right before his feet touched down on the sand. He enjoyed seconds more of the wind on his wings before tucking them behind his back and allowing his cloak to cover them.
The figure had his back turned to Phil as he walked forward and deeper into the water, though he did so slowly. He looked so much like Tommy from here, the only difference being the hair. That and how thin he was. Tommy was a bit lanky, sure, but he looked terribly thin to the point of starvation. How he was still standing was a mystery in it of itself.

Summary
Being sixteen and in the mafia was strange, Tommy knew he wasn't exactly like the average teenager. The average teenager wasn't forced to find any work that came their way, even dangerous—not to mention illegal—work.

Summary
Tommy and Techno against the world. That's how it had always been, and how it would always be. They won't leave the other behind. They promised to stick together. No matter how many nights were spent cleaning cuts or tending to nasty bruises, they were always reassured that they had one another.

Summary
He lays on the ground, his well-loved jacket tossed aside somewhere close to him. Tommy wonders when he could taste the metallic flavour of blood on the tip of his tongue, when he began having to clean it from underneath his nails and when his jacket became familiar with being soaked with the fluid.
Standing over him is the boy he had admired so much, his own eyes wild and his hands dripping the same shade that stained Tommy's shirt -- Tommy could smell the fresh scent of cut grass, the coppery tang of blood and more importantly, how much Wilbur reeked of power.

Summary
The man hovering over him leaned back, releasing Grian completely. Cold night air rushed in to fill the void.
“I guess it’s out in the open now,” the stranger hummed. “Shame. I wanted to avoid this.”
With the additional glow occupying the space between them, Grian was finally able to catch features that were lost in the prior darkness. His curiosity outweighed all else, and he drank them in greedily. As soon as he saw who sat across from him, alarms blared in his mind.
This man wasn’t a civilian, wasn’t even a hero.
“Hello, Doctor,” the villain mused. “You were quite the help today.”

Summary
Tommy was many things: feared, free, powerful… but he wasn’t proud.
He wasn’t proud of the title he had or the name they’d called him, honestly he didn’t think he deserved it. Tommy never had an evil plan, or a secret lair, or any of the cool things villains had. All he had was a shitty apartment and the clothes on his back, and a desire for more.
He couldn’t be a civilian, and he certainly wouldn’t be a hero, so he did what he had to do.
At fifteen years old, Red Death killed the top heroes in L’Manburg, and Tommy became a villain.
Or: Two years ago, the top heroes of L'Manberg were killed by Red Death. Now, ex-villain Tommy tries to juggle the fallout while also forging new relationships, some of which may be more complicated than they seem.
