He slowly reached out and gently ran his hand through the dirty strands of shaggy black hair and scratched behind the white fluffy ears that lay on top of his head. The hybrid quickly startled awake as a whimper broke from his mouth, flinching away from his touch.
“Shhh…. It’s okay pup, it’s okay. I just want to help you not hurt you.” The hybrid wouldn’t meet Jaemin’s eyes as he scooted a little closer to the door to get away from him. Jaemin noticed a dull silver tag that hung from the collar on the hybrids neck. The tag said Jeno. “Is that your name, Jeno?”
