**On temporary hiatus**
What would happen if Charlie Weasley and Regulus Black went to school together?
Charlie Weasley has always been a bit different and a bit sheltered, but once he goes to Hogwarts and finds his own way, what will he do? The Wizarding War is back and The Dark Lord is looming. Weasley’s are Gryffindor’s and they’ll be brave, but the measure of bravery is in the eye of the beholder.
A mess of an AU for my two comfort characters who have barely ten canon mentions. A Grey Charlie Weasley and Regulus Black trying their best to survive the War. Two distantly related cousins trying to destroy The Dark Lord piece by piece. Also, I am awful at maths, so try not to think too hard on the timeline, the Weasley’s are more spaced out and obviously had to change the ages for Regulus Black to be attending Hogwarts at the same time as Charlie.
Excuse any errors or inconsistencies I will try my best to fix them when I can. This will be a long Fic, starts Year 1 of Charlie’s Hogwarts Years.
Please heed content warnings the further this gets the darker the themes.

Summary
TK and Carlos were deeply in love in college. But Carlos felt that his life needed to mean more. So he enlisted into the Marines as soon as they graduated, where he went to officer school, and from that point he was shipped out to his first assignment. They kept in touch but agreed to be just friends, as they felt that distance could worsen everything. Three years later, TK was in Austin as a paramedic and currently dating Ethan. But what will happen when Carlos comes back?
