Max opened his mouth, probably to say something safe and normal, but Bradley beat him to it. He reached into the bag, pulled out the folded shirt, and held it out between them.
“I think you wanted this.”
That was it. No explanation. No buildup.
Max stared at it, then at Bradley. “But… that’s yours,” he said, genuinely confused.
“I know,” Bradley replied. “I don’t wear it.” He hesitated, then added, awkward and rushed, “It’ll suit you better.”
or: the author believes we let this ship die way too quick so they write a fanfic in which Max and Bradley start out disliking each other but gradually (and awkwardly) grow closer.

Summary
Max Goof, an ex-athlete after a traumatic accident, now works at GraphiX Co. in Sky Line City. It is the best graphic design company in the state. He's the most respected and well known graphic designers besides the well known history of his skating days. Max has contributed to many projects over the years, earning himself the title of "Creative Master Mind". Until one day he is assigned to work along side the man he's held a grunge against for many years, Bradley Upercrust III. A man who is now much different than Max remembered, who still carried the energy that made Max despise him, except it makes him feel much differently than it did before. They have to work along side each other for a project they are both fortunately passionate about, which only sparked a new connection between them. Much different than the one they had during their college days. Who knows where this may lead, another fight? Forgiveness? A spark of a new relationship? Only time paves the path for them, and they have a year to explore this new found spark.
