Summary
In the wake of Aemond Targaryen losing an eye at Driftmark, King Viserys I chooses a banishment for his grandson, Lucerys Velaryon, rather than a more severe punishment.
For ten years, the boy will live with his grandparents, Corlys and Rhaenys Velaryon, at Driftmark. To ease the family tension, the king also commands Rhaenyra to return to King’s Landing as his Hand.
