Summary
Omega Choso’s life is finally going as it should: he has a stable job, he just secured an apartment for him and his brother Yuuji, and he has a level of peace in his routines working at Geto’s coffee shop. That is, most of the time anyway. Because the other times are haunted by blonde she-demon Alpha, Yuki Tsukumo, who has insisted on trying to woo him.
And maybe he is getting wooed. Just a little. Not that he’d admit that to anyone.

Summary
Yuki watches as he does every task with care and dedication and notices that even when a topping does not lay correctly, or a glaze is not perfect, his expression shows no frustration. He simply starts again. It’s a craft, it’s full of artistry, and he is clearly very passionate about it.
Oh, that’s really hot, actually, Yuki thinks as she takes a bite of the delicious caramel éclair, watching the man place flower petals and buds with a tweezer to a mille-feuille. He is really hot, actually.
It seems that Yuki has found her new go-to spot in her neighborhood, and she intends to return soon for reasons that have very little to do with the quality and delicious taste of the products or the pleasing aesthetic of the design.

“Choso,” her weak arm reaches up, her hand running through his loose, dirty hair. “Have I… Have I ever told you I like muddy men?”
“Yes, like, five times already,” Choso runs faster.
She must be losing a lot of blood, Choso thinks.

Summary
“It’s a vacuum leak. It happens every so often,” Yuki says, laying her hand on her hip and looking at Choso.
Choso shakes his head, wiping his dirty hands on his denim pants. “No, I don’t think so. It’s the carburetor. Probably the needle jet.”
Yuki crosses her arms. “I think I know my bike pretty well by now, Choso.”
“Apparently, you don’t, Yuki.” Choso arches an eyebrow at her.
Yuki scoffs, slightly entertained by the sweaty, handsome, and stubborn mechanic – that also might be a serial killer, but really, who’s keeping track?
She stares at him, and he meets her eyes with the same intensity and challenge.
“Fine. Say, you keep it today and check it out. If I’m right, you will give me a discount.” Yuki pops her hip to the side.
There’s a glint of amusement in Choso’s eyes. “And what if I’m right?”
Yuki smirks, licking her lips before speaking.
“If you’re right, I’ll let you buy me a drink.”
