Summary
Flug is an orphan. Nowhere to go, no one to take care of him. But he's incredibly bright and signs up for an engineering mini airplane competition in town, hoping to win the grand prize to give himself some spending cash. But when the few ally he has brutally pass away, he's left with a random stranger to take him in.
This is a fic I wrote in middle school. I have kept the spirit of its original version alive, so there may be plot holes and cringe moments. I don't care though. My younger self yearned to share this fic with the world, and I am here to deliver.
That said, it has been edited and heavily improved upon. The heart of the story lives on, the details shift and change. -

Summary

The question is if he can keep a tight enough hold on the safety net he's made himself, and will he have the strength left to haul someone else into it with him.
