Summary
On the way to a routine intel sweep, Sergeant John "Soap" Mactavish is hit with a horrific vision - the plane he and his team are on explodes after take off, killing everyone on board.
When Soap doesn't end up on that plane, he finds himself and his teammates hunted down by what should've happened...their untimely demise.
As the realisation occurs that something darker, something unavoidable, is stalking them - strange events unfold on base. One by one, death reclaims what she is owed.
As time runs out Soap is forced to confront a harrowing question:
Can he cheat death...or does it always catch up?
-------------
“We have to get off, *now*”
“What?”
Price's commanding voice, sharp and confused, broke through the murmurs Soap hadn't even realised we're there.
The captain approached quickly, tone steady but edging towards pulling rank.
“John, son,” He began, reaching out a calming hand, “We can't just get off. We need this lift, what's gotten in to yo-”
“*No!*”
He flinched away. His breaths came in ragged, unreliable bursts.
“No- *This plane is gonnae fuckin’ blow* and we all need to get the hell off *now!*”

Summary
The first time she meets him, he's nothing more than an almost-missed appointment.
~~~
Dean is silent for a long, tense moment, then he gruffly says, "It's not for banishing the angels. It's to summon them. So, it doesn't—it's not to get rid of 'em, but to draw 'em in."
Mitzi can't help but glance up at him at that. His voice is so heavy with so much unexplained pain, and she doesn't understand why, or what angels have to do with it. She knows religion can impact people. She's very aware that it can get complicated, and that it can be a huge source of pain for someone, but Dean sounds grievously wronged, somehow, as if it's a truly personal thing.
She pushes through, focusing back on her job, clearing her throat before murmuring, "Well, I guess we all want angels to visit us sometimes."
"Just the one," Dean mumbles.
"Your guardian angel?" Mitzi asks.
Dean breathes out, "Something like that. As close to one as an angel will ever get."
I can't begin to describe how this fic made me feel. Definitely one of my absolute favourites to date. The pure joy I felt at the end was unimaginable and I spent half of the fic crying. Incredible job, would absolutely recommend. The characterisation was perfect and it really felt like a great extension to canon that we should have gotten instead of the last episode. Thank you very much for writing this.
Summary
“I have no fuckin’ clue what you two are on about,” Ghost stated tonelessly. “Fuck’s a Tim Allen?”
“You’ve never seen The Santa Clause?” Gaz asked, grasping at his chest in feigned shock.
“Seen ‘im? Just shot the guy.” Ghost wiped blood off on Soap’s shirt sleeve, making him swat at the hand. “Also, what about me made you think I watch a lot of Christmas movies? I need to correct that.”
“Ghost, you’d love it. Santa dies within, like, the first five minutes.”
“... Promising concept.”
A mission drags out and the 141 are stuck in the States for Christmas. Luckily, the Laswells welcome the extra company. While Soap misses his family, he doesn’t really mind spending the holiday with his second one.
Summary
Due to their prototype deviating on its first mission, the RK800 series is immediately discontinued and dismantled. Newly woken up in the junkyard with a will to live and actual wants and desires, Connor cobbles himself back together with no mission in place. What does Connor want to do? Might as well give this detective thing a shot.
Featuring Connor passing as human at the DPD I present… 5 times Connor was almost revealed as an android + 1 time he was
Broo this was incredible! Has to be my absolute favourite DBH fic to date, and there's a few contenders. Binged it in a night and was kicking my feet with excitement at each chapter.
Absolutely fantastic writing, and although im a little late to the party, I would absolutely recommend to any Connor fan. What a delight to read.
Summary
Cyberlife had planned extensively for the risk of deviancy with the RK800. When Markus tries to convince Connor to deviate at Jericho, Connor’s anti-deviancy program contains the problem.
The problem being Connor’s consciousness, of course.
This was absolutely awesome, probably one of the best characterised fics I've read of Hank and Connor, and the overlay is just insanely cool!!
