Dazai wasn't ultimately surprised when Chuuya had come crashing into the room through a window, hitting Dazai almost in the same moment the window shattered. The method, and sudden manner to it all is something Dazai almost invites. However when he goes crashing into the back wall with Chuuya staring him down, he notices a weird desperation- or even concern- in the man’s gaze.
Or; Chuuya barges in because he has some fuck ass thing to tell Dazai but then Dazai does his typical “lets turn that question around act” like the insane man he is.

Oda: "If both sides are the same to you, become a good man."
Become a good man, he said. I never cared what side I was on. But if I'm on the side that saves people, doesn't that make me a good person?I always wondered, what if Dazai was cold and manipulative the whole time? What if, even after joining the ADA, Dazai was still cold? Dazai didn't care about human life or virtue, only following morals to fit in.
(Very slow chapters...I'm sorry. Life gets busy and chaotic you know the drill)
