  Summary

  So he wakes up, in his room. A glass jar nearby encases a new 'pet' for the team, the single insect within starts to speak with him.
  "What's up Gatri'?" It asks telepathically, though he isn't used to his mind being touched by a baby insect trying to converse with him. The voice is in a high tone, ends quickly and you could even determine where the spaces between each word was and for how long each space was.
  "I'm... going to train.." The old man said, rustling out of the inn bed. "Might as well get ya ready for combat too, kid."

  aka, old man adopts a necromancy-esque parasite-insect and trains it for future combat.
