Summary
He stared at the now unfolded, unsent letter he held in his hands. If he’d ever had any suspicion that she might be writing this or even thinking of this, well, a bloke might just remember how much he liked Erin Quinn. Like, really liked her.
And, if he were feeling in an especially scrutinizing mood, he also might be inclined to wonder if she liked him back.
__________James finds Erin’s unsent letter to him and starts paying closer attention. Does she like him? Should he tell her that he likes her? Or will it risk everything? Set in the summer before season 3.

Summary
Erin really had no idea how she got into this situation. To be perfectly honest, this was not the first time she’d ended up in a position she would not have predicted, and couldn’t explain. She practically lived her life having no idea how she got where she was. Christ, James’ first day at their school resulted in a dead nun and James pissing in a bin. No one could have predicted that. If she were a bit more self-aware, Erin would probably know that her current predicament was at least seventy percent her own fault. But Erin Quinn was not the kind of girl to live in reality.

Summary
Anthony glanced at his brother, who had been uncharacteristically stationed along the wall of the ballroom for the entire night. Well, it would have been uncharacteristic if he hadn’t done the same for the last two balls. Not dancing, not talking to anyone – Colin’s eyes were fixed unerringly on one target as she moved around the room.
His concentration was intense enough that he didn’t seem to notice – or perhaps didn’t care – as Anthony sidled up to him until the Viscount cleared his throat. “Colin,” he began.
“Yes. What is it, Anthony?”
“You’re not – courting, are you? Miss Featherington?” He’d already been surprised by his brother’s romantic and impulsive nature once. He’d prefer to at least have a little warning if it was about to strike again.
