He pulled the cigarette from between his lips, breathing out a halo of smoke. “You got a free pass last time,” he said with a shrug. Truth, for it’d been Tarantula’s machinations that tipped Babara’s relationship with Dick over into heartbreak, saving her full blame and, as such, a grave. “You can thank Catalina Flores for that.”
