    Look, I’m putting this cringe on here because I can
    If I gave this to you irl for you to read, like, the physical printed copy that I printed out when I was like, 10 or 11, you would see a lot of color, a lot of different fonts, and too many punctuation marks than needed. And highlights. Lots of color. And smiley faces. Oh god.
    I say “self-insert” because 10 year old me had a crush on the field medic, Ratchet.

    Fun fact: I used to run around at school saying “I like Ratchet!” And my running coach gave me looks like “wtf” because she didn’t know who or what I was talking about. I had no idea why she seemed uncomfortable with what I was saying, so I had to explain that “Ratchet” was the name of a Transformers character and that I had a crush on him. Little did smaller me know that “ratchet” was not only a mechanical tool, but another word for a hoe. Not the gardening tool, the “I slept with her” kind.

    I think I have a thing for medical practitioners-
