Summary
Harry was supposed to pick- move on and be with his parents, or go back to finish the battle with Voldemort. But even Dumbledore doesn't know everything, and Harry finds that there are actually a lot more options than those two.
Harry wants more than what he got. He wants a home. He wants a family. He wants a chance to be happy. He isn't sure he deserves all that, but he's going to try anyway. If only to spite Dumbledore and Voldemort's plans both.

Summary
When Eddie gets an early morning phone-call that drags him out of bed and to a hospital, he hopes it's just routine. Because Buck finding himself in a hospital is routine. Soon he discovers that nothing about this situation is what he hoped it to be. His best friend is hanging on to life by a very thin thread that threatens to break any second. Maddie and Chim are still gone and Eddie has no patience for it anymore. They'd all been through so much in just a year, can't they have a break? Can't he have a break? Just when life was finally starting to make sense again, his whole world almost falls apart. But Buck is strong, he's a fighter, he'll pull through. Eddie wants to believe that. He's just not sure he can. He's not sure of anything anymore.
