When Bakugou Katsuki was nine, his mother was diagnosed with mental illnesses.
Before she got sick she was his mom. She would cook breakfast and dinner and she would do all the chores with a small smile on her face and a tired look in her eyes. And she would play heroes with Katsuki and ruffle his hair and call him her little rascal. She treated him with warmth and care. And she loved him.
But sometimes love isn’t enough, especially when it hurts.

This was the saddest and most well written fic I have read in a minute, the subtle ways that bakugou’s feeling and views on his situation are conveyed are the most heartbreaking and well thought out I have seen in a while.
So 10/10. And I cried.
