Adam, you’re on extraction gear, Pepper, you’re on medical. We don’t know what shape these folks are in.” He finally sets his gaze squarely on Aziraphale, his eyes flick to the lens of his camera and back up again. “Stay out of the way.”
Aziraphale packs his camera gear and heads to the Rocky Mountains to film with an elite search and rescue team. Turns out the terrain isn't his only challenge.

Still, centuries of having the idea that nothing is freely given pounded into his head have left a mark. And Astarion knows that the only currency that he has that’s worth anything in this kind of situation is his body, especially when Karlach hasn’t been able to touch anyone in years. He feels like he owes her this, after all of the kindnesses she’s afforded him, and who knows? He might even enjoy it. He could see himself enjoying it, if he did it right.

Summary
Joli is rapidly losing the ability to begin a conversation with her colleague in a way that doesn’t start with the words “I’m worried about…”. She knew what she was getting into when making it her life’s goal to give the kids in the city a better life than the half of her family that had survived their third resettlement had. She spends a lot of time fretting about things, it’s ostensibly what she’s best at, apart from speaking four languages reasonably well and doing the voices when reading from a story book. It’s no wonder then, that the first thing she says while she and Aim are fixing up the rumbling generator with duct tape and a prayer is “I’m worried about Nona.”
OR
Five times Nona and Joli were having two completely different conversations at the same time, and one time all the cards are laid on the table.

Kim feels for the Satellite Officer. It’s clear what he’s been through, what Harry has subjected him to over the last few years - Kim only knows the half of it, of course, but he’s seen it before, hermit-cops pushing everyone away, their partner last man standing at the bombsite. Still, it feels cruel to punish this person for it, this wiped-clean, remade Harry, looking at Kim now like a bottle-fed animal about to be released into the wild. If Kim does go to the 41st, navigating all this will be an extra layer of complexity. He should think very carefully about it - about whether it’s worth getting mixed up in all of it. The mess.
A slow-burn, Kim-POV story about going to the 41st, against his better judgement.

The cigarette burns slow between Crowley’s fingertips. The taste of smoke in his mouth drags memories from his lungs, dusty as ash and cold as. The church opposite is grey with it, too—the build-up of centuries, the soot and stain of humanity blackening its very foundations.
He would have hated this building, Crowley thinks, looking up at the spire, piercing white and imposing. He’d have liked the pub better.

Crowley is the founding member. Aziraphale's is the member.
Aziraphale was dizzy with how much he wanted to have Crowley naked in his bed, and here Crowley was, stripping down in his room while he tried to settle the slight shake in his fingers. He undid the button of his trousers and slid the zipper down. Was he moving too slow? Maybe Crowley thought he was teasing them, trying to put on a little show. The nervousness crowded his mind but he drew in a slow breath and nudged the fear away again. It would be alright. This was Crowley, watching him with so much desire he could practically feel it like honey dripping over his skin. Crowley would accept him.
Aziraphale breathed out and pushed his trousers and pants down to his thighs in one go. There was a half second of silence as Aziraphale waited in strained anticipation for Crowley to see.
"Oh, thank GOD."

Red sand and sage stretching out for miles and miles in front of him. Juniper and pine and gray crag behind him. The flora might be changing but that's about it. Same bone-dry air that gives him nosebleeds. Same cute little cottontails and scrawny jackrabbits darting under his tires. Same two lanes separated by white lines...
He checks his speedometer. He hasn't downshifted since the city limits. Sheer luck, that. He's coming up fast on another rig. Flatbed with Vermont plates. Bright white cab with gold wings painted on the side.
Anthony Crowley might have gotten out of Missouri, but he hasn't escaped his past. He wears it like a cloak. When he crosses paths with a guardian angel, he starts to learn how to shed it.
