(Written for this kinkmeme prompt: I imagine that, Newt's awkwardness aside, his profession is such that he must be able to take care of himself if he is hurt, without relying on anyone else.

“No, I - oh, God.” He buries his face in his hands, and he’ll take muddling his words over looking at Momo’s face in a heartbeat. “I’m asking because - because I’m attracted to him. I’d like a relationship with him, and - and I don’t know if I’d be on a fool’s errand, pursuing someone who doesn’t want that.”
There’s silence. Izuku counts ten, then twenty beats before he lifts his head, and sees Momo staring at him with a stricken expression, all the colour drained from her face. “What?” he says at once, alarmed. “What’s so - did I say something wrong?”
He watches the movement of Momo’s throat as she swallows, gathers herself, and shakes her head. “No,” she manages, and Izuku is taken aback by just how sorrowful one single word is. “You didn’t. It’s just… Izuku, Shouto’s been in love with you since we were fifteen years old.”
Twenty-seven year old Midoriya Izuku is determined to make up for lost time when it comes to pursuing Todoroki Shouto, despite the universe's best attempts to put him through it.

"He's amazing," Izuku says, smiling down at his sketch of Shouto as he adds a little unnecessary texture to his hair. "He cares so much about people: you can see it in all of his rescues, how reassuring and kind he is."
"Huh." Spinning his pen in his fingers, Natsuo's staring at Izuku without really seeing him. Instead, he's beginning to visualise it - an idea, one that could turn into something great. So long as he cultivates it himself, though, as he doesn't trust either of them to be left to their own devices. But it really could be something great. "Say, Izuku. You're still single, aren't you?"
"Yep." His smile is sheepish, the tips of his ears pink as he turns to face him. "Why do you ask?"
"Oh, no reason," Natsuo says slowly, as his brain goes into overdrive. "No reason at all."
After losing his leg during an incident, pro hero Shouto is reassured that his brother Natsuo will be the one to create his prosthetic at his support agency - that is, until Natsuo realises he can hand the task over to his partner Izuku, and busy himself with trying to set an introverted Shouto and workaholic Izuku up together instead.

There’s nothing scary about haunted houses, Satoru thinks - the only things he has to fear in life are the impossible standards his parents have set for him, the sell-by dates on his favorite desserts, and bad hair days, and so he reluctantly agrees when the rest of the group decides to get together for Halloween.
But then Suguru shows up to the party with his fucking girlfriend in tow, and Satoru realizes maybe he’s not so fearless as he’d like to believe.

Yaga had blown out a sigh. Looked older than his age and nodded. “Mei Mei has been doing a good job of negotiation. We’ve gotten to the point where they will give us an audience. That’s more than we were hoping.”
“Alright. I’ll do what I can."
