The dreams hadn’t come last night, thank Christ, but the memory of them lingered like smoke, vivid flashes and glimpses of someone who shouldn’t feel so real.
They say those you dream about, you’ve seen in real life, but he’s sure he’s never seen the guy before. Ever.

Summary
“I will not apologize for speaking the truth,” the child says. “However, I regret if that truth has offended you.”
“Jesus Christ, kid,” Jim mutters.
“I am not offended,” Spock responds, as blandly as he is able. “I was remiss in casting such hasty judgment upon your guardian.”
”Father,” she corrects.
”Your father,” he agrees.
*****
An academy AU + Tarsus aftermath fic in which James T. Kirk ends up accidentally parentally bonded to an orphaned Vulcan child. When the father/daughter duo enroll in Star Fleet, hijinks ensue (mostly at the expense of Spock’s previously immaculate but quickly deteriorating self-control).
Winner of the 2025 Philon Award for a novel-length fic (!!!)

Summary
Jim wrote a romance novel just to prove he could. Then someone leaked it on the public Starfleet server, and suddenly his embarrassingly smutty and sentimental Human/Vulcan love story is all over campus. Luckily for Jim, no one knows that he’s the author. Unluckily for Jim, someone forwarded the novel to the staff of the Vulcan embassy. Now, every Vulcan in San Francisco is reassessing the logical merits of taking Human bondmates.
Spock reads a Human/Vulcan romance novel because he can hardly avoid it. Suddenly, he is consumed by the need to locate the author, ascertain their wellbeing, and instruct them in the way of Vulcan mating bonds. Luckily for Spock, it doesn't take long to identify the author as Jim Kirk. Unluckily for Spock, Jim is unconscious and surrounded by interested Vulcans who also read the book.

Summary
Jim hadn’t planned to have sex after being marooned on Delta Vega. There were a lot of reasons behind this, not least of which was the fact that he really needed to get back to the Enterprise to prevent the destruction of the literal Earth. The monsters that wanted to eat him were yet another turn-off. Admittedly, Jim did have a more-than-passing masochistic streak, but even he wasn’t that into vore. Or tentacles, for that matter. Add to that the fact that Little Jim wasn’t exactly a great performer in sub-zero conditions, and, well, yeah. He really hadn’t planned on getting laid.
Unfortunately, there’d been a few extenuating circumstances.
or, a story in which Jim Kirk fucked that old man.
