Summary
A trip to Paris, a whirlwind romance, and VIP tickets to the Quidditch World Cup: the summer before Draco Malfoy’s fourth year at Hogwarts seems to be a good omen for times to come. But in the shadows, the Ashbringer and his Order of the Phoenix still smolder…and after years of preparation, are finally ready to reignite.
High in the Pyrenees Mountains, Draco is thrust into a dangerous tournament in which he must fight to survive, and though he has his friends and the Smokevigil at his back, it may not be enough. Draco will master complicated magic and try to work out the Ashbringer’s plan—all while navigating a volatile love triangle between a charming Quidditch star a second, unexpected suitor: Harry Potter.
Draco never would have thought he’d live to see the day that the son of an Order member would vie for his affection, but then, a lot of unexpected things seem to be happening this year, some worse than others. The stakes for him have never been higher, after all, and not everyone will make out alive.

Summary
After his parents’ breakup, Isak Valtersen retreats into survival mode. He spends most nights on Jonas’s couch, drowns out his thoughts with alcohol and noise, and learns how to be careful with himself in a world that already feels unstable. At home, his mother’s faith grows louder as her mental health deteriorates, and scripture becomes something Isak cannot escape. When she discovers the truth about him, fear and love twist into something damaging, and she sends him away to conversion therapy in the belief that it will “fix” him.
Isak returns to school at the start of year two changed. Quieter. Guarded. Carrying trauma he does not have the words for. He has learned how to disappear, how to flinch away from his own wants, how to survive by staying closed off.
But survival is not the same as living. As the people around him reach out, and as he meets someone who sees him in a way no one ever has before, Isak is faced with questions he is not sure he is ready to answer. Can he accept help without feeling weak. Can he trust love without fear. Can he unlearn everything he was taught to hate about himself.

“Matteo was 18 and a half when he fell in love, and while he can convey all of his emotions into a musical piece, the only word he can use right now to convey how he feels about his epiphany is silly.”

Summary
“Wow,” Isak monotones, “you’re such a charmer.”
“I didn’t realise I still had to charm you,” Even shoots back. “You’ve already invited me in.”
“Yeah, and you’ve made it as far as the front door before blowing it,” Isak says, but there isn’t even a moment of real heat to his voice, no intent beyond the playful snark that seems to make Even’s smile get even bigger, his eyes crinkle even prettier. “Nice moves there, bro.”
“Bro?” Even’s eyebrows jump up towards his hairline. “Do you call all your hook ups bro?”
“I’ve never spoken to any of my hook ups this much before,” Isak blurts out.
Isak is a closeted professional footballer. Even is the hook up he cannot stop himself from falling for.
