Summary
I was immensely inspired by lmirandas Potterlock Mystrade Series, Inconvenient. This is a story I wrote based off of her characters (with permission), continuing from the last work titled: Up to the Challenge. It is a partial rendition of what I imagine could come from it and I was very excited to put Mycroft on a broom with Greg. XD.
Again, this is just my imagining and I very much look forward to reading lmirandas continuation of her work.

From the outside Castiel Novak looks like a regular guy: a good job, two teenage kids, a nice house and a crappy car he’s way too attached to.
But there’s one thing no one knows about him: that, over twenty years ago, he used to live next to none other than Dean Winchester – back then a brash and loud-mouthed boy and nowadays a huge movie star and Hollywood’s sweetheart.
Castiel never bothered to tell anyone about his childhood friend because frankly, who would believe him? Probably even Dean himself already forgot about his former awkward and weird neighbor, so Castiel seriously doesn’t see any point in mentioning the whole thing ever.
But then an interview on national TV happens where Dean reveals way more about his past than ever before … and Castiel - as well as the rest of the world - suddenly realizes that he left a much bigger impact on Dean’s life than he originally thought.

Dean Winchester is many things: a kickass tattoo artist, Charlie Bradbury's finest wingman, best big brother in the world, hater of the MTA, but one thing he is not is a romantic. He doesn't believe in meet-cutes or love at first sight, that kinda stuff is for rom-coms that he secretly watches when no one is around. Until he meets Castiel, the stupidly handsome art dealer who just keeps showing up in Dean's life, and always manages to turn Dean's ideas of how you're supposed to feel about someone on their heads.
A story about finding love in a city that never slows down, the ink we leave on our skin, and what we hide under it.

Red wine always makes him tipsier than usual and he finds himself saying, the words slurring a bit. “You know, I’ve got to ask. Do you always shoot cabbies for people you barely you know?”
John meets his gaze over the rim of his glass, and there’s something there that Sherlock can’t pin down. “Not for everyone,” he says, meaningfully, pointedly, his smile all teeth.Sherlock feels faint. He’s flirting. Is he? Sherlock has to backpedal, get out of the hole he’s dug himself into.
“You should come home with me tonight,” Oh god no, that’s the exact opposite of what he should be doing.
John’s eyes widen and he blinks at him. “Er-“
